IMPROVE YOUR PUTTING WITH GOOD AIM AND A GOOD ATTITUDE

I have always really enjoyed putting, it seems fairly simple to me. However, if you have been struggling with your putting and you would like to regain the joy again try this simple approach.

Step 1

Get a friend to check your aim regularly or use an alignment aid as part of your putting practice. Good aim is the foundation of good putting, you can't expect to putt well if you're not aiming the putter where you think you are.

Step 2

Get good at missing! This may seem like a funny thing to say but I believe allowing yourself the comfort of missing a few is critical to having a good attitude toward putting. The mental freedom of allowing yourself to miss will filter into you putting stroke. By that I mean you will be able to freely stroke you putts without interference or overcontrol and ultimately access your natural hand-eye-coordination. Before long you will be putting like a child again!
